We have carefully chosen suppliers that produce beautiful quality products, and have achieved environmental certification and employ the use of alternate sustainable energy sources.

Paper:
We use 100% Post-Consumer Fibre Recycled Paper for all our printing.

It is important that the paper is 100% Post-Consumer Fibre, this means that it contains wood fibre that has been recuperated entirely from paper used by consumers through recycling programs and has been de-inked without chlorine, as opposed to pre-consumer recycled which means scraps of virgin fibre have been recycled.

The paper is certified EcoLogo, Processed Chlorine Free and FSC Recycled. It is manufactured using efficient, renewable Biogas energy which is a green energy that substantially reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Envelopes:
Our envelope supplier uses 100% wind power, recycled shipping materials and has gone completely carbon-neutral with their shipping.

Cinnamon Saturday standard white and natural envelopes are 100% Post-Consumer Fibre, FSC Certified, Chlorine Free, Green-e Certified, Green Seal Certified and made with 100% renewable energy.

We also offer gorgeous metallic envelopes that are manufactured 100% Carbon Neutral using 100% wind power, are Green-e certified, Chlorine Free and made with 30% Post-Consumer Fibre.

Also available are a variety of coloured envelopes that are Green Seal Certified and made from 30% Post-consumer paper.

Printing:
We use a high-efficiency digital press with an innovative recycling system for the mineral oil it uses. The press produces very little waste, not needing as much paper for set-up as traditional offset presses, while having the ability to print small quantities. The ink is recyclable and the press does not require film or plates and the use of chemicals other methods require. Digital printing also emits less VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) when compared to other printing processes. Furthermore, our printer has achieved environmental certifications by adopting sound environmental practices.
